League Hosts Annual Kick-off

September 29, 2018

The League of Women Voters Ozaukee Chapter’s kick-off on Tuesday, September 11th was not only enjoyable but very successful as well.   A big thank you goes to Barbara Willenson for hosting the event in her lovely Grafton home.   Thirty-seven people attended including six guests.   In fact three new     members joined the League that very night – Jennifer Levin, Kate Williams, and Alden Taylor bringing our total to 73 members!

After everyone enjoyed delicious food and drink, President Barbara Hunt welcomed everyone and reviewed the calendar for the year encouraging members to become involved.  She spoke of the national meeting in Chicago and the League’s commitment to DEI which stands for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
