April 1, 2019

Author, business woman, and Ozaukee County Supervisor Janette Braverman spoke at the League
of Women Voters Brunch on March 23 rd at the Ozaukee Country Club. Ms
Braverman reviewed events in her life experience how working with diverse people and groups
from her own life made her life so rich with experiences and friends. She emphasized we to
need to seek opportunities to connect and communicate with many diverse people, ethnic
groups and cultures. Ms. Braverman’s book 10 Reasons Communication Brings Transformation:
Unleash Your Greatness
details how one can create a communication style to connect with
various groups.

Janette Braverman had copies of her book available for purchase.

The brunch was a success with 125 guests attending the brunch; the most attended Woman’s
History Month luncheon for the Ozaukee League. League members also had the opportunity to sponsor local students to attend the luncheon providing a unique opportunity to students to learn more about the League and civic participation.

Area students were sponsored by LWV members to attend the brunch.  (L to R.) Jennifer Short, Julia Chumlea, Asia Meneese-Williams, Ms. Braverman, Brook Bell, Abigail Perkins, Nolari Hingiss, and Grace Adebogun
