League Marches in Annual 4th of July Parade!

July 5, 2019

What a beautiful day for a parade!

Fifteen LWVOZ members walked in this year’s 4th of July parade in Cedarburg and had a great time doing so! Members handed out flags and candy to the kids and Myvote.wi cards to adults. We are grateful once again to Rita Bakalars for driving her beautiful red sports car, always an attention getter.  And thanks to Vonna Pitel for her behind-the-scenes help with signs and banners.  As we approach the 100th anniversary of the LWV, we are proud to publicize our League’s work in promoting voter participation and educating voters in Ozaukee County. LWVOZ wishes all a safe and healthy 4th of July holiday weekend! We look forward to seeing you next year at the parade!
