League is ready for the year ahead!

October 6, 2019

The 2019 LWV Fall Kick-Off was held on September 11th and hosted by Karl and Carol Hertz at Willobrook Place in Thiensville.  Thirty-eight members and guests were in attendance who shared a meal and wonderful conversation.  A short meeting followed where President Barb Hunt discussed the League’s activities for the 2019-2020 years. Voter registration events were highlighted as a major focus for the upcoming year along with the celebrations for the centennials of the passage of the 19th Amendment and the 100th anniversary of the formation of the League of Women Voters.   This gathering successfully invigorated the group for the busy schedule that lies ahead. Now is a wonderful time to consider joining the League! Head to the Join/Support tab for more information!
