League Holds 2021 Annual Gathering

The League of Women Voters Ozaukee County held its Annual Social Gathering on June 3, 2021 at the Mequon Market. This was the first in-person event of 2021 due to the pandemic. The new President Christy Schwan was elected to a 2 year term. Pru Palecek Secretary, Mary Fran Lepeska, Treasurer and Ellen MacFarlane Vice President were also elected to 2 year terms.

Board Members elected to two year terms are Allison Antoine, Katie Egan Bruhy and Vonna Pitel.

We would like to thank our dedicated members who have previously served in various elected board positions. We couldn't do this important work with our leaders and each of our members.

The League is 90 members strong and its committees include Voter Services (which includes voter education), Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Environment and Climate, and Membership.

In July we will be participating in the “Fun Before the Fourth Parade” in Thiensville and hosting an evening in Lime Kiln Park discussing and sharing books each of us enjoyed reading over the year.

If you're interested in getting involved with the League, drop us a note! We'd love to hear from you!
